October 30, 2010 – Kota Bharu, Kelantan – OXCEL Kota Bharu continues to deliver on its promises to provide early career planning and development seminars for the students of Kelantan. These seminars which are a coveted distinctive signature of the Oxford Center for Leadership is part of its corporate social responsibility to provide the necessary skills students and youths need in order to have a successful future.
The seminar which had all the ramifications and splendor of an international event had as its keynote speaker, Malaysia’s first astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar. His talk which encompassed the need for early preparation for one’s career highlighting some of his life experiences and choices that has brought him success and fame and most of all accomplishment of his dreams was invigorating as it was precise. He stated amongst other things that education is the best investment one can make as it always pays the best dividend and that it is essential for humanity, coupled with early planning for one’s career, is a sure step towards career success in the future.
During the event awards were presented to the best students, counselors and principals in Kota Bharu for their exemplary qualities in their studies and duties respectively. These awards were presented as part of OXCEL’s initiative to reward exceptional behavior towards one’s duties as well as inspire and motivate individuals to perform better. The participating students were left in the euphoria of an inspirational awe that would no doubt kick start a journey whose end will be one of success.
