OXCEL Youth Leadership Programme With Malaysian Astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor

The fast growing commercial city in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia played host to the country’s first astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar as he was honored with the prestigious OXCEL Global Achievers Award for his contribution in bringing pride and honor to Malaysia and also his visionary leadership qualities. As a result of his feat, Malaysia has recorded its name in the history books as a country that has sent one of its own into space.
This award was presented to him during the launching ceremony of OXCEL’s new office in Kuantan, Pahang. This new office was established to bring OXCEL’s unique leadership development programmes to the doorsteps of the people of Pahang. This brings the number of OXCEL offices in Malaysia to three besides the Asia Pacific representative office in Kuala Lumpur showing OXCEL’s continued success through its growth and proliferation in Malaysia.
The ceremony which had in attendance the CEO of OXCEL Asia Pacific and Kota Bharu respectively amongst other dignitaries, also had over 1000 youths who were participating in the OXCEL Youth Development Programme’s Future Leaders Experience Seminar with Dr Muszaphar as speaker held during the same event. Dr Muszaphar inspired the youths by sharing his life experiences which has made him the man he is today. He also discussed the importance of effective time management and its benefits.
