OXCEL Young Leadership Programme Titled ‘ Career and You’ With Dr.Fazley Yaakob

On 19 June 2010 OXCEL Asia-Pacific opened up a new centre in Malaysia at Kota Bahru, this centre headed by Mr Mohamad Redzuan has spearheaded the opening of minds and intellect of young leaders aged between 15 - 25 by organising a OXCEL Young Leadership Programme titled 'Career And You with Dr Fazley Yaakob' at Kota Bahru.

This programme managed to open the eyes of the youth in Kota Bahru that just being a 'jaguh kampung' is no longer feasible if one wants to compete. Indeed they were shown the way with interactive presentations by Dr Fazley always reasoning with the crowd and getting them involved in shaping what they thought about their future, and how they want to create it.

This was then followed by a thought provoking session by Dr Saiful who gave an eye-opening session whereby a small town kid from Pekan, Pahang can make a presence on the world stage by thinking big and not letting what people say about you hold you back. Then 2 entreprenuers from Kota Bahru (Mr Wan Mohd Zamri, MD of Al-Quds Travel Sdn Bhd and Dr Wan Hasnan, MD of Docnan Industries Sdn Bhd) shared their own stories of how they became successful. It was not overnight!, but a slow process of starting from a small operation but having big aspirations and slowly achieving milestone after milestone and then making their dream a reality.
