Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur 22 June 2010. The Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports Dato’ Ahmad Shabry Cheek yesterday chaired the occasion of the official launching of the book titled My Biznes Icon authored by the CEO of the Oxford Center for Leadership, Asia (OXCEL) Dr Saiful Bahri and his son Shahrel Fazli.
The occasion which was held at the Dewan Putra Perdana banquet hall of the Putrajaya Shangrila hotel saw in attendance dignitaries like Datuk Paduka Dr Junaidi Abu Bakar, the Minister, Council of Education Indonesia, Dato’ Zulkifli Mohamad, OXCEL Advisor and Ernest Yeap, OXCEL Chief Operating Officer.
In his speech, the Honourable minister described the book as one that possesses the reputation for business leadership and a practical guide on real business issues entrepreneurs’ face today. He said “I strongly believe that this book has a reputation for business leadership and will be a good reference for youths entering into business. Not only does the book provide food for though and some new ideas, but also some practical guidance on real business issues faced by entrepreneurs in Malaysia.
The Honourable Minister went on to commend Dr Saiful Bahri and OXCEL Asia for their stride in building young business leaders and entrepreneurs who will take on the challenges business brings in the interest of ultimately making Malaysia strong business country and his son Shahrel Fazli for the initiative and success at a young age.
Dr Saiful Bahri is currently the CEO of the Oxford Center for Leadership, Asia (OXCEL Asia) and a three time author whose books have included I walked the dollar which was launched in 2003 by the Mayor of Oxford in UK. He received his Doctorate in Business Administration with particular strength in business and corporate leadership. He introduced The Oxford Center for Leadership in the Asia-Pacific region to spearhead leadership development and through OXCEL, he has been able to help individuals and corporate bodies alike with their programs.
